Charles has led Synergy’s quality programs since 2016, ensuring successful audits under ISO 9001, 20000-1, and 27001, as well as successful appraisals for CMMI-DEV ML3, and implementing CMMI-SVC ML3. Charles is also leading Synergy’s upgrade to CMMI 2.0 for the next appraisal of CMMI-DEV. Additionally, he is leading Synergy’s CMMC compliance project.

Charles is a PMP certified Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in the field of Federal IT managing, supervising, and leading teams of engineers, analysts, and quality engineers. Charles has over 15 years of experience in quality assurance and implementing quality assurance frameworks from the ground up. He exhibits strong technical acumen and leadership by analyzing complex situations and issues, developing actionable solutions or alternatives, communicating them in a positive and easy-to-comprehend manner, and executing them within a team environment.

Charles holds an Associate of Arts in Information Technology Services from the College of Southern Maryland and is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Cybersecurity at University of Maryland Global Campus.
